Description
This was going to be a scrap/WIP, but as soon as I saw the picture, I knew it was a still life.
A shot of three rings I made with Sculpey, modeled after the Tel'aran'rhiod Ring from the Wheel of Time. The digital model I made-and more detailed description-is in my gallery here: [link]
The rings only have one edge- basically a solid Mobius strip. They still need to be refined a bit more and painted- check my gallery later!
There's a fourth one that was too small- my sister liked it, so I painted it for her, but it would have been cool in the shot.

These are great. I've been trying to make one out of Sculpey also. I decided to check some out on Deviantart to see if anyone else had tried it.
I have two questions though. I made one similar to these, but noticed it takes four circles of it to return to your starting point. In the book it says it only goes around twice, making me think it should be thinner.
My other question is how you got the edges so sharp. It looks awesome - must have taken a long time to do!
